Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the WCS provider and project team on automated warehouse integration projects.
- Create logistic concepts, IT solution designs, processes, and acceptance criteria for WCS integrations.
- Create WCS integration documentation, interface descriptions, trigger points, and error-handling definitions.
- Design secure communication methods using HTTPS, TCP/IP, and TLS.
- Determine whether requirements can use the generic M Conductor message approach or require local WCS integration enhancements.
- Define functional and non-functional requirements and oversee development of local WCS enhancements.
- Assess the holistic IT landscape in an automated warehouse context.
- Create test data and test scripts and run unit, performance, and integration tests.
- Support user acceptance testing, go-live activities, and handover to Operations and IT Service Management.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience in BlueYonder Warehouse Management.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in BlueYonder Warehouse Management.
- Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design, code, and optimize software components for performance and scalability.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and working across multiple system platforms.
- Experience with A&D Aftermarket is preferred.
