Base Salary
$151k - $297k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the architectural vision and technical strategy for the data migration engine.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering leadership to shape the technical roadmap.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers on best practices in data structures and algorithms.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team.
- Develop core foundational code to solve scalability problems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial software development experience with a JVM language, preferably Java.
- Extensive experience with streaming data platforms like Apache Kafka and CDC tools like Debezium.
- Hands-on experience with at least one SQL database such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Exposure to client-side technologies like JavaScript and React is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
