Responsibilities
- Architect production AI solutions, including tool selection, memory and context management, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Build and deploy agentic systems, retrieval pipelines, MCP services, enterprise integrations, and supporting technical components.
- Modernize platforms and applications based on current business needs.
- Design access controls, identity management, deployment guardrails, and operational resilience into solutions.
- Break complex problems into deliverable components and help define scope, sequencing, and implementation approaches.
- Create reusable patterns, skills, and tooling for future engagements.
- Work directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams from discovery through deployment and, on some engagements, ongoing operation.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, and delivering complex technology solutions in production environments.
- Experience building and operating production software, with strong software engineering skills ideally including Python and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and delivering cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience building AI applications and agent-based systems in production.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.
- Experience building retrieval-enabled systems using technologies such as pgvector, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch.
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise systems, data platforms, APIs, identity providers, and MCP-enabled services.
- Strong technical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work directly with clients and navigate ambiguity.
- Client-facing technical delivery experience is expected at senior levels.
- Preferred experience in consulting, professional services, or as a technical founder; relevant industry experience; and building reusable platforms, tooling, or AI solutions in regulated environments.
