Base Salary
$117k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production-grade software across Linux, macOS, and Windows.
- Design and orchestrate systems in which AI agents integrate into human workflows, evaluating human- and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
- Implement device trust and attestation using certificate-based and hardware-backed trust mechanisms.
- Build identity and security platform components involving certificates, PKI, secure transport, and access enforcement.
- Deploy and maintain containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality and security checks.
- Triage vulnerability findings, validate fixes, and help close security gaps.
- Participate in incident response and operational investigations.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams on platform reliability and trust.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building software in Golang, Python, Java, or a similar language.
- A genuine AI-first engineering approach using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, cloud-native services, Linux or system-level development, CI/CD pipelines, and developer workflows.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, Git, REST/JSON APIs, and service integration.
- Interest in enterprise security, identity, authentication, and access management.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate and learn.
- A related technical degree.
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes, Terraform or CloudFormation, observability platforms, SLOs and SLIs, TLS, OAuth, SAML, MFA, passkeys, certificates, Zero Trust, device trust, TPM/T2 attestation, OWASP Top 10, input validation, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, static analysis, dependency scanning, SQL or NoSQL databases, testing frameworks, advanced prompt engineering, or relevant distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or security automation coursework or project experience.
