Base Salary
$117k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and operate high-availability production AI and LLM agentic systems in Python across public cloud environments.
- Build reliable AI services and APIs using tool calling, structured outputs, and state management.
- Engineer high-throughput data-processing pipelines, feature workflows, and automated security intelligence systems for large-scale security telemetry.
- Operationalize machine learning models for classification, clustering, anomaly detection, security automation, and threat detection.
- Own systems end to end across implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and live production operations.
- Improve resilience, observability, and performance using logs, metrics, traces, and other telemetry.
- Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, documentation, and collaborative team execution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering, machine learning engineering, or related development experience.
- Strong hands-on programming skills in Python.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, APIs, testing, debugging, code reviews, and maintainable software design.
- Experience building and operating production software, services, data-processing systems, or ML applications.
- Experience addressing scale, performance, reliability, data volume, or concurrency challenges.
- Practical understanding of machine learning fundamentals and experience applying ML with common libraries or frameworks.
- Familiarity with generative AI and LLM technologies in software applications.
- Experience with cloud-based, distributed, or data-intensive applications.
- Understanding of source control, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational debugging.
- Ability to troubleshoot using logs, metrics, traces, and other telemetry.
- Ability to work relatively independently within established technical direction and collaborate effectively.
- Preferred experience includes LLM-powered workflows, tool or function calling, structured outputs, context or state management, ML frameworks, distributed data processing, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud ML or data infrastructure, MLOps, cybersecurity, adversarial AI, AI red teaming, LLM or agent security, attack simulation, automated security evaluation, MITRE ATT&CK, or OCSF.
