Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable full-stack solutions supporting ETF technology platforms and critical business workflows.
- Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, QA, infrastructure, and production support teams.
- Drive Java and Spring Boot application architecture, design, development, and delivery.
- Lead RESTful API and microservices development and governance with secure authentication and authorization controls.
- Architect cloud-native distributed systems focused on modularity, service discovery, fault tolerance, resilience, and modernization.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and automated deployment practices using Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Design and optimize transactional data platforms using SQL Server and Oracle.
- Establish quality engineering standards through automated testing, functional validation, TDD, and BDD practices.
- Support production stability through performance tuning, incident management, monitoring, observability, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation.
- Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle and influence engineering standards, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve software delivery, quality, troubleshooting, and engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–9 years of experience.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with enterprise-scale Java and Spring Boot applications, including Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Batch.
- Experience leading RESTful APIs and microservices architectures using Hibernate, JPA, OAuth2, and JWT-based security controls.
- Experience architecting cloud-native distributed systems and using Spring Cloud technologies such as Eureka, Config Server, and API Gateway.
- Experience with Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Experience designing and optimizing SQL Server and Oracle transactional data platforms.
- Experience with automated testing and quality practices using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
- Experience with production support, performance tuning, incident management, system monitoring, observability, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Experience using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Technical leadership and collaboration experience across business, product, QA, infrastructure, and support teams.
- Experience with AI-assisted development technologies such as Claude and Windsurf is required or expected in the role.
