Base Salary
$251k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for automated high-definition map creation.
- Apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, including vision-language models and generative AI.
- Own the complete model development lifecycle from data mining and processing through production deployment.
- Collaborate with Perception, AI Foundations, and other partner teams to adapt research into scalable production systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on machine learning experience focused on computer vision and/or deep learning.
- Proficiency in at least one major deep learning framework, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Experience owning machine learning problems end-to-end and working across multiple parts of the systems stack.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A master’s or Ph.D., foundation-model adaptation experience, top-tier ML/CV publications, C++ experience, and mapping or GIS experience are preferred or beneficial.
