Responsibilities
- Own billing and claims end to end, ensuring a reliable revenue path.
- Design, build, and run healthcare integrations with EHRs and clinical partners.
- Model healthcare data to create a clean internal data structure.
- Build systems that can handle failures and monitor third-party integrations.
- Serve as the domain expert on coverage, coding, and claims.
- Evaluate and decide on building versus buying solutions.
- Make architectural decisions to support scalability.
Requirements
- Significant experience building software in healthcare.
- Proven track record of operating healthcare integrations in production.
- Hands-on experience with the revenue cycle including claims and payments.
- Strong backend engineering skills in API design and data modeling.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards like FHIR and HL7.
- Experience working with PHI under HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity effectively.
