Responsibilities

Partner with Product Owners, business users, and subject matter experts to shape requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Design and develop Java microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Batch.
Build and enhance responsive frontend applications using ReactJS and modern JavaScript.
Deliver enhancements across wealth and trading application workflows in a microservices architecture.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, software engineers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.
Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support for business-critical applications.
Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices to improve software quality and release efficiency.
Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, pair programming, system performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer productivity.

10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with enterprise Java/J2EE applications.
Proven experience with Agile delivery and full software development lifecycle execution.
Strong hands-on experience building and deploying microservices with Spring ecosystem technologies.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and related standards including JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, and XML.
Hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and React state-management workflows such as Redux.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, messaging and event-driven systems such as MQ and Kafka.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Liquibase.
Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred experience includes wealth management, capital markets, order management systems, and investment or trading platform integrations.
Preferred domain exposure includes OTC, Bonds, Cash Equities, Funds, IPO, Loans, and Deposits.
