Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and deliver secure, scalable production software solutions.
- Review and debug code written by other engineers and promote high-quality engineering practices.
- Lead team adoption and validation of approved AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting tools.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring remediation and improve software and system operational stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture and technology applicability.
- Coach engineers on responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- At least five years of applied software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, including experience with React and Java.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of application resiliency and security practices.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry technology and IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
