Responsibilities
- Drive the technical direction and scalability of the Insights practice-management platform.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Improve application reliability and observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Optimize web application performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams on high availability and resilience.
- Lead high-impact projects and make architectural improvements across the stack.
- Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with product and design teams on user-friendly healthcare experiences.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience focused on scalable full-stack applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React or Vue, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong architecture skills and experience designing scalable, reliable, and performant web applications.
- Experience leading multi-month, high-impact projects and balancing technical trade-offs.
- Deep understanding of React fundamentals, frontend performance optimization, state management, and component-driven design.
- Experience designing APIs, working with complex backend systems, and optimizing database performance.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills involving monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across an organization.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical concepts to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience includes scaling high-traffic frontend applications, diagnosing React bottlenecks, influencing UX/UI decisions, building data visualizations and interactive analytics dashboards, working with developer tooling and frontend CI/CD pipelines, using GraphQL, REST, gRPC, and BFF architectures, contributing to open source or engineering publications, and working in regulated industries with security and compliance requirements.
