Responsibilities
- Build, design, and architect new capabilities for Jitterbit Cloud Application products.
- Develop robust, scalable, distributed, and multi-tenant SaaS applications with full-lifecycle ownership.
- Collaborate with engineers, product management, operations, Distinguished Engineers, and Architects to solve complex problems.
- Work across frontend, backend, cloud, database, container, and application deployment technologies.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical decisions and key initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures and design patterns.
- Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with application deployment using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed remote team.
- Data-driven decision-making skills and the ability to work independently on key initiatives.
- DataDog APM and logging experience is a bonus.
- Experience developing and releasing with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions is a bonus.
