Base Salary
$153k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services that mint, custody, and settle tokenized equities across blockchains.
- Own technically complex projects from design and implementation through rollout and production operation in a 24/7 system.
- Integrate traditional brokerage, ledger, and corporate-action infrastructure with on-chain systems, including smart contracts, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows.
- Partner with product, compliance, legal, and platform teams to translate regulatory constraints into system designs.
- Raise engineering quality through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on mentorship.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- A track record of delivering large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Backend development expertise with Go, Python, or Java.
- Deep familiarity with cloud-native architecture, including Kafka, Postgres, Kubernetes, or equivalents.
- Strong understanding of correctness-critical systems, idempotency, reconciliation, and failure-mode analysis for financial systems.
- Experience owning ambiguous cross-functional projects, making tradeoffs, and driving alignment.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction beyond individual projects.
- Working knowledge of blockchain fundamentals including EVM, smart contracts, wallets, and on-chain settlement, or a strong appetite to learn them quickly.
