Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-optimized cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service workloads in production.
- Implement reusable Terraform infrastructure modules, remote state management, and multi-environment deployment patterns.
- Develop Python automation for cloud provisioning, compliance validation, reporting, integrations, and self-service capabilities.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, security specialists, and operations teams to improve platform stability and service delivery.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
- Integrate security controls, vulnerability remediation, and compliance automation into DevSecOps workflows.
- Document platform standards, architecture patterns, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong practical expertise managing Microsoft Azure environments and Azure platform services in production.
- Proven production experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, including reusable modules and enterprise-scale deployment models.
- Strong Python scripting and automation capabilities.
- Experience with enterprise production environments requiring high availability and security.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400.
- Preferred: Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
- Preferred: experience with regulated environments, security hardening, enterprise governance, risk and compliance frameworks, and modern DevSecOps operating models.
