Base Salary
$164k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end-to-end AI/ML and generative AI solutions across data integration, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Design scalable, secure, governed, cloud-native architectures for AI/ML, distributed computing, GPU workloads, and enterprise data management.
- Develop and deploy production AI solutions involving LLM applications, intelligent search, workflow automation, model serving, evaluation, monitoring, and optimization.
- Design APIs, integration services, data pipelines, and orchestration workflows for enterprise AI capabilities.
- Lead architecture reviews, AI readiness assessments, performance benchmarking, and infrastructure trade-off analysis.
- Establish MLOps, LLMOps, and ModelOps practices including experiment tracking, model registries, versioning, testing, deployment promotion, rollback, monitoring, lineage, and cost optimization.
- Define responsible AI controls covering privacy, IAM, key management, audit logging, PHI/PII, explainability, model cards, bias and risk assessment, human oversight, and agentic guardrails.
- Serve as technical authority for cross-functional teams, mentor engineers and data scientists, communicate with executives, and support client solutioning and responses.
Requirements
- Master of Science in computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics/statistics, bioinformatics, or data science, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Production experience developing, deploying, and supporting AI/ML and generative AI solutions, including LLM applications, intelligent search, workflow automation, model serving, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms, cloud-native data architectures, distributed processing, data governance, machine learning lifecycle management, and batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks, libraries, and tools.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing AI/ML solutions in major cloud environments, including identity and access management, networking, security, and infrastructure.
- Experience working with large, complex, sensitive, or regulated datasets in government, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Must be able to obtain a Tier 3 Public Trust and must be a US Person.
