Responsibilities

  • Own the overall technical architecture for the data product, services, and platform.
  • Set technical direction, align teams and components, and develop the technical roadmap and architectural guardrails.
  • Evolve graph-based knowledge models, data pipelines, LLM, RAG, and agentic capabilities for production use.
  • Shape stable, scalable APIs and platform services while improving developer experience.
  • Embed security, DevOps, and engineering excellence into architecture and development processes.
  • Identify technical risks and balance scalability, maintainability, technical quality, and time-to-market.
  • Partner with the product Business Owner to align business, product, and technology decisions.
  • Coach engineers, facilitate technical decision-making, and strengthen technical ownership and quality.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in demanding software, data, or platform environments and technical responsibility for complex systems.
  • Experience providing technical leadership to experienced engineers and driving cross-functional technical decisions to completion.
  • Strong understanding of modern architectures for data-intensive applications, APIs, platforms, and common architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with modern cloud and AI technologies, ideally including AWS, Amazon Neptune, TypeScript, Terraform, AWS CDK, LLMs, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, Langfuse, and AgentCore.
  • Hands-on experience with data and/or AI products, ideally including LLMs and generative AI in production.
  • Solid understanding of cloud technologies, DevOps, infrastructure as code, and security by design.
  • Ability to balance technical excellence and long-term scalability with pragmatism and time-to-market.
  • Clear, audience-appropriate communication from engineering teams through senior leadership.
  • Proficient English language skills at minimum C1 level.
