Responsibilities
- Develop and tune machine learning models and labeler systems based on clinical use cases and state-of-the-art methods.
- Productionize models using production-grade Python.
- Identify improvements to production ML systems and write, debug, and deploy Python code to implement them.
- Build MLOps infrastructure for machine learning model development and production deployment.
- Trace patient data through AWS services and improve the timeliness and real-world effectiveness of model predictions.
Requirements
- A relevant Ph.D. plus 3+ years of relevant experience, or a relevant master’s degree plus 5+ years of experience shipping ML-based software products.
- Experience owning machine learning models from prototyping through production.
- Experience writing production-grade Python and SQL to implement and evaluate ML models in production systems.
- Experience using MLOps tools such as SageMaker and MLFlow.
- Preferred: experience shipping high-impact AI/ML products from 0 to 1.
- Preferred: experience building healthcare solutions or working with messy health data.
- Preferred: experience working with enterprise customers.
- Preferred: comfort interpreting and leveraging state-of-the-art peer-reviewed methods or tools.
