Responsibilities
- Develop, refine, and maintain user guides, API documentation, and onboarding materials.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Solutions teams to understand new features.
- Ensure documentation accuracy as features and APIs change.
- Identify documentation gaps and refine content based on user feedback.
- Establish documentation standards, templates, and best practices.
- Utilize visuals and modern documentation techniques to enhance understanding.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer for software products or APIs.
- Excellent written communication skills for explaining complex concepts simply.
- Familiarity with technical documentation, APIs, and JSON.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Experience with documentation platforms like Markdown, Git, or Notion.
- Ability to manage multiple documentation projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
