Base Salary

$130k - $130k/yr

Responsibilities

Collaborate with software engineers and other interns to develop low-latency, high-performance proprietary trading systems.
Design, implement, and debug complex trading applications.
Ensure software meets requirements and is testable across the development lifecycle.
Communicate project updates and work strategies with project managers, product managers, teammates, and leadership.
Participate in the Belvedere Trading University curriculum covering trading fundamentals and proprietary trading systems.

Experience developing efficient, user-friendly, and extensible programs, preferably with an object-oriented language such as C++, C#, or Java.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, learn quickly, solve challenging problems, and communicate effectively.
Ability to use AI tools effectively while maintaining independent judgment and critical thinking.
Must be able to live in Chicago and attend the internship fully in person during Summer 2027.
Must graduate in December 2027 or Spring 2028.

Fully in-person Summer 2027 internship in Chicago with no travel required.
Belvedere Trading University provides in-house learning and development in trading and proprietary systems.
For applicable engineering roles, Belvedere provides study materials and dedicated onboarding time for SIE and Series 57 certifications.
Regular attendance during standard business hours is required, with occasional on-site attendance before the start of business.
