Sr. Data Engineer (Python & SQL exp. mandatory)
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines that move and process data from varied sources into BI schemas.
- Perform end-to-end data gathering, processing, analysis, and presentation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Establish and enforce data governance practices for data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide subject matter expertise on customer success and support data.
- Construct, preprocess, and clean datasets for Tableau dashboards and business presentations.
- Help stakeholders extract raw data for business reviews.
- Monitor daily data processes and resolve data issues.
- Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical leadership on data projects.
- Track data engineering trends and incorporate emerging technologies into the data infrastructure.
- Build APIs to pull data from sources such as Salesforce organizations as an added advantage.
- Use AI to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and automate routine tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 6–8 years of experience in a data engineering role supporting a business intelligence team.
- Proficiency in Python, Airflow, and databases including Oracle or Snowflake.
- Proficiency writing complex SQL queries.
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on report development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
