Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of existing Electronic Notebook applications.
- Handle bug fixes, patches, minor enhancements, troubleshooting, and production incident resolution.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in code, queries, and infrastructure.
- Own code quality, conduct code reviews, and enforce development and maintenance best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and guide team members while ensuring adherence to maintenance processes and standards.
- Collaborate with global teams and customers to understand issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Perform problem management and root cause analysis for complex application issues.
- Maintain technical documentation for fixes, enhancements, and operational processes.
- Advocate for Functionality, Usability, Reliability, Performance, and Supportability principles.
Requirements
- 10–12 years of experience in software development and application maintenance.
- Proficiency with .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, WebAPI, and Postman.
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with MSSQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Azure Functions.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and service-oriented architecture projects.
- Familiarity with MS Test, Jasmine, Moq, NUnit, and Karma testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, authentication, and authorization using OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with Agile practices, preferably Scrum.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical reasoning, communication, collaboration, and customer-service skills.
- MCA or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
