Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Salesforce and Certinia PSA solutions.
- Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Apex Triggers, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, custom objects, validation rules, custom metadata, and custom settings.
- Configure and extend Certinia PSA capabilities for projects, resource requests and assignments, resource management, timecards, milestones, project financials, and billing events.
- Design and develop REST and SOAP integrations using Platform Events and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Build bulkified, secure, scalable solutions that comply with Salesforce governor limits and platform best practices.
- Develop asynchronous processing with Queueable Apex, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex, and Platform Events.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and data issues across Salesforce, Certinia, and downstream enterprise systems.
- Develop Apex unit tests and support automated regression, integration, API, and deployment testing.
- Conduct code and pull-request reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA/SDET engineers, architects, integration teams, and distributed engineering groups.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release validation, production support, and continuous improvement of performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of software development experience with strong hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong experience with Apex, Apex Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flows, SOQL/SOSL, custom objects, validation rules, custom metadata, and custom settings.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, bulkified development, and platform security, including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, CRUD/FLS, and record-level security.
- Experience with Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Platform Events, and other asynchronous Salesforce processing patterns.
- Hands-on Certinia PSA or FinancialForce PSA experience, including its data model and professional services processes.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, Connected Apps, and Named Credentials.
- Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD, and automated Salesforce deployment processes.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, enterprise CRM solutions, event-driven integrations, and large-scale enterprise SaaS applications is preferred.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is preferred; Salesforce Platform Developer II and Certinia PSA certifications are pluses.
- Experience with Informatica/IICS, MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
