Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang.
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Design tools that automate tasks and improve decision-making.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, AWS resource usage, and cloud costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support the security, compliance, and operational integrity of cloud-based and on-premises systems.
- Promote automation, monitoring, continuous testing, and version control best practices.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and stay current with development practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 3–5 years of experience developing APIs with Golang and understanding deployments in AWS cloud services.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git and SQL or NoSQL databases such as Postgres and Cassandra.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as ELK, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Interest in or exposure to AI/ML tools is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps best practices.
