Base Salary
$44k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of technology platforms such as operating systems, networks, and databases.
- Build stable, user-friendly programs while following established processes.
- Consider software and hardware relationships and contribute to potential product design improvements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across Cisco to support security initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate associate’s or bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one of C/C++, Python, or Java demonstrated through coursework, projects, or work experience within the past 12 months.
- Experience in QA, testing, and/or debugging.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with legal right to work in the U.S. and have no need for visa sponsorship.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Linux, networking concepts, operating system core concepts, embedded development, machine learning, databases, web application development, web services, computer networking, cybersecurity, and AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
