Responsibilities
- Analyze Jira issues, incidents, support tickets, and production defects using Claude Code.
- Trace issues to root causes within the codebase.
- Identify recurring defect patterns and categorize root causes.
- Review code changes to prevent future defects.
- Generate and improve automated test suites using Claude Code.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Create end-to-end, API, integration, regression, and performance test automation.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and enforce release readiness criteria and quality gates.
- Lead post-incident reviews and root cause analysis activities.
- Audit test coverage and engineering compliance with defined processes.
- Establish quality gates requiring automated validation before production releases.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, quality engineering, or related technical leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in Java and/or Python.
- Ability to read, review, debug, and analyze production code.
- Deep understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Hands-on expertise using AI development tools like Claude Code or ChatGPT.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work core India business hours and collaborate with global teams.
