Responsibilities
- Design enterprise cloud applications and agentic AI platform components covering orchestration, memory, tool integration, identity, guardrails, and observability.
- Serve as the senior technical authority for complex AWS and serverless architectures, establishing governance, design standards, risk controls, non-functional requirements, and technical-debt management.
- Design reusable AWS agentic AI and commerce patterns and advise clients on ACP, AP2, A2A, and secure payment models.
- Lead technical discovery workshops, build senior-stakeholder relationships, and identify and shape technical solutions that support account growth.
- Prove solutions hands-on, review code, design API and integration patterns, and champion quality, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and delivery standards.
- Mentor engineers and architects, share knowledge of emerging technologies, and raise technical quality across the account and practice.
Requirements
- Senior or Principal architect experience in a digital agency or consultancy, including development-team leadership, client workshops, and identifying business growth opportunities.
- Deep hands-on experience designing, documenting, and delivering resilient, highly available enterprise applications on AWS, including serverless patterns and integration components.
- Strong understanding of building AWS-based agentic AI platforms, including Bedrock, orchestration, RAG, gateways, and MCP, plus awareness of ACP, AP2, and A2A.
- Strong software development background, ideally with TypeScript or JavaScript, and experience with robust API design, documentation, and versioning.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automated tooling.
- Excellent written, verbal, and diagrammatic communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification, or Associate certification as a minimum, is preferred.
- AWS Specialty certifications, including Security or Data/ML, are preferred.
- Familiarity with the C4 model, diagrams-as-code, DevOps practices, headless architectures, and practical enterprise LLM applications is preferred.
