Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate Transaction-Level Modeling (TLM) and SystemC models of hardware components into the virtual platform and simulator.
  • Model processors, memories, interfaces, and other complex hardware behavior in software.
  • Develop simulator features supporting early software development, integration, and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and stakeholders across Ericsson.
  • Solve technical problems with incomplete, evolving, or ambiguous specifications.
  • Own tasks independently and contribute to continuous improvements in products, processes, and technical capabilities.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional software design and development experience with strong hands-on C++ experience.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, C++, and C++ templates.
  • Hands-on experience with SystemC/TLM and software-based hardware modeling.
  • Understanding of hardware/software interaction and interest in modeling complex hardware systems in software.
  • Commitment to code quality, clean software design, and maintainable solutions.
  • Knowledge of Embedded Linux and experience using Linux as a software development platform.
  • Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting, Git, and JIRA is a plus.
  • Knowledge of processors, DSPs, memories, hardware interfaces and protocols, interrupts, and GPIOs is highly valuable.
  • Experience with open-source software modeling is a plus.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education.
