Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and maintain PEGA applications, workflows, user interfaces, data models, reusable components, and enterprise solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement them within the PEGA platform.
- Model and optimize business processes, business rules, service level agreements, routing logic, and automation.
- Develop and consume integrations and web services using REST, SOAP, Kafka, database connectors, JSON, and XML.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Debug and resolve technical issues and defects and optimize PEGA application performance and scalability.
- Create technical design documents, solution architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
- Participate in code reviews and follow PEGA best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, stakeholders, and other developers.
- Mentor junior PEGA developers and share technical knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in PEGA application development.
- Strong proficiency with PEGA Platform versions such as 8.x and hands-on experience with PEGA PRPC core features.
- Experience with PEGA UI development, including Pega Cosmos and UI-Kit.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database platforms.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development within PEGA.
- Experience with SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, Kafka, and other integration technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and PEGA's DCO approach.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect or Lead System Architect certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
