Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, enhance, and maintain scalable Java full-stack enterprise applications.
- Develop responsive frontend interfaces using Angular or React with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and state-management tools.
- Design and optimize Oracle relational data models, SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and execution plans.
- Build and integrate secure APIs with internal, external, enterprise, messaging, and legacy systems.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing using the stated testing tools.
- Participate in architecture, technical design, code reviews, application modernization, and technical-debt reduction.
- Support Docker containerization and deployments across OpenShift and Kubernetes, as well as AWS and GCP cloud-readiness efforts.
- Collaborate on CI/CD automation, application scanning, deployment workflows, production troubleshooting, and incident remediation.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and static/dynamic code analysis, and remediate security findings.
- Mentor junior developers and analysts while promoting clean code, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Assess and manage operational and compliance risks in accordance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of relevant software engineering and application-development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and enterprise libraries, with hands-on Spring Framework and Spring Boot experience.
- Experience building and consuming APIs and developing with Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and frontend state-management tools.
- In-depth Oracle Database development experience, including SQL, PL/SQL, indexing, query optimization, and execution plans.
- Proficiency with Git-based version-control tools and Maven, Gradle, npm, or yarn.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code-quality tools.
- Preferred experience with MongoDB, OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
- Financial-services, regulatory-reporting, or transaction-processing experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-collaboration skills, with the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
