Responsibilities
- Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify system enhancements, analyze issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
- Analyze business and system processes and apply industry standards to solve complex issues.
- Write basic code, use script tools, conduct testing, and debug applications.
- Evaluate options and apply similar experiences to situations not covered by standard procedures.
- Develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications.
- Assess risk, follow applicable laws and policies, and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Core Java, J2EE, Spring, REST web services, SQL, and Oracle database experience.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness and ability to learn and work with new technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of industry practices, standards, programming languages, and application development for a specific business area.
