Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, install, and support enterprise applications using Java and ReactJS.
- Analyze requirements, code, applications, vulnerabilities, and security issues to identify and implement system improvements.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology teams and recommend programming solutions.
- Conduct application testing, debugging, dependency management, change management, and continuous integration testing activities.
- Own technical decisions and implement solutions for software development projects.
- Resolve application issues with limited supervision and advise or coach new or lower-level analysts.
- Assess and manage compliance, risk, control, and audit-related issues in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in applications development.
- Strong ReactJS and Java development skills.
- Working knowledge of enterprise-level architecture, web services, data layers, and application layers.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects.
- Experience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration testing tools, and audit/compliance requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented design.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills with clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
