- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, high-availability, high-capacity trading platforms.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to design and implement solutions for client and business needs.
- Collaborate with global counterpart teams to build reusable features and leverage regional expertise.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, support, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Strong Java programming skills, ideally in a real-time low-latency or zero-GC environment.
- Demonstrated ability to produce organized, readable, and maintainable software.
- Proven problem-solving ability with critical and creative thinking.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience writing robust, automated unit and integration test suites.
- Prior electronic trading platform experience, including reference data, market data, and FIX, is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Python, SQL, and/or Linux, plus experience with sequencer or event-based architectures or Zero-GC Java, is beneficial.
