Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features based on internal and external requirements.
- Understand the Avaloq Core Banking Platform and its corresponding business areas.
- Perform maintenance activities including root cause analysis, bug fixing, and code optimization.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and business analysts.
- Work with technology vendors, infrastructure providers, and the software development division in an international team.
- Complete training toward Avaloq Certified Customization Professional certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- For mid- to senior-level candidates, 3–5 years of relevant experience in a core banking system or similar environment.
- At least 5 years of experience with PL/SQL, SQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with one or more high-level programming languages is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem solving.
- Quality-conscious, self-motivated, goal-oriented, open-minded, collaborative, and proficient in spoken and written English.
- Exposure to customer communication management systems or document management systems is a bonus.
- Familiarity with information security concepts is a bonus.
