Responsibilities
- Identify operational, performance, security, and availability constraints and implement continuous improvements.
- Partner with engineering teams on onboarding, best practices, outage troubleshooting, and service-reliability improvements.
- Support highly available services and participate in 24x7 on-call production support.
- Manage GitLab CI pipelines, Jenkins deployments to AWS, and infrastructure as code while advancing continuous deployment.
- Design, build, implement, and support AWS and other cloud platform solutions from design through operation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant technology experience, including at least 3 years working with AWS.
- Practical knowledge of AWS EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, S3, and RDS, with additional AWS services such as ECS, EKS, API Gateway, and Lambda preferred.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform and CloudFormation, and configuration tools such as Chef.
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD engineering practices, and PowerShell or PowerShell Core for automation.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Windows and Linux administration, and observability technologies such as Datadog and Splunk is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and platform-reliability improvement skills.
