Responsibilities
- Own the operations, stability, security, scalability, and support of enterprise data platforms.
- Provide production support and maintain platform availability, performance, reliability, adoption metrics, and operational KPIs.
- Support cloud modernization and data migration initiatives across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Develop platform strategies, roadmaps, enhancement plans, and solution designs with technical and business stakeholders.
- Design tools and processes that improve data management and protection, including occasional scripting and workflow automation.
- Manage APIs and integration components with a focus on security, resilience, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership on strategic platform initiatives and document functional and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience supporting data management platforms covering data catalog, data quality, data modeling, and data lineage solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Spark, Lambda, and CDK.
- Expertise in data modeling, database design, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with SSIS, AWS Glue, cloud storage, AWS, Azure, and Fabric Data Lake.
- Experience deploying and supporting enterprise data solutions in cloud environments.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Jira.
- Strong understanding of system design, platform engineering, and API management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated learning agility, innovation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
