Software Engineer II
TripAdvisorResponsibilities
- Design, code, test, deploy, and maintain software across the development lifecycle.
- Build and improve primarily backend systems for Tripadvisor Experiences.
- Contribute to occasional frontend projects and develop frontend skills on the job.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers.
- Release code frequently, with many engineers deploying to production every few days or on a daily cycle.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language is essential.
- Experience with every technology in the web stack is not required.
- Frontend expertise is not required and will not be assessed during the interview process.
- Candidates must be based within a generally 1–2 hour commutable distance of Tripadvisor’s London office hubs.
