Base Salary

$165k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain shared React Native platform capabilities.
  • Develop reusable cross-platform components, hooks, and libraries.
  • Build and maintain native modules to extend functionality where needed.
  • Improve application performance, including startup time, memory usage, and runtime responsiveness.
  • Strengthen React Native architecture, state management patterns, and dependency structures.
  • Partner with product teams to ensure platform scalability, usability, and adoption.
  • Contribute to experimentation infrastructure and release enablement systems.
  • Debug production issues and continuously improve mobile system reliability and developer experience.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience building and shipping production applications with React Native.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, component-driven architecture, and state management.
  • Experience building shared abstractions, libraries, or platform-level code.
  • Experience integrating backend APIs into production applications.
  • Familiarity with mobile performance optimization and cross-platform considerations (iOS & Android).
  • Comfortable operating in high-ownership, fast-moving environments.
  • Proven ability to independently deliver from implementation through production support.
  • Nice to have: Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) code.
