Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize high-throughput real-time data pipelines for network and system telemetry.
- Develop distributed application services, microservices, scalable databases, and REST APIs.
- Build frontend portals, dashboards, widgets, interactive visualizations, and data-driven user interfaces using React or Angular.
- Own features from backend API design and database modeling through frontend implementation and user experience.
- Integrate third-party systems using APIs and messaging queues, and contribute to architectural decisions for the observability platform.
- Define and execute component, unit, code-coverage, and API automation tests.
- Participate in build and deployment processes using Jira, Jenkins, GCR, and GKE.
- Apply security best practices, and drive observability with Prometheus and log and data collectors.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience focused on object-oriented programming and distributed microservices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or Go, with experience building and scaling data pipelines.
- Strong modern frontend development experience with React.js or Angular.js, including complex interactive charts, graphs, and dashboards.
- Expertise in query optimization, partitioning, and performance tuning in SQL and big data query engines.
- Experience working with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and data collector frameworks for distributed-system metrics, logs, and traces.
- Experience with Spring Boot or Go language frameworks, Kafka or GCP Pub/Sub, and event-driven microservices architectures.
- Experience designing REST APIs and gRPC, and understanding distributed systems for massive horizontal scaling.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, GCP, Redis, SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to lead technical discussions.
