Base Salary
$80k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Learn product technologies and troubleshoot production issues across current and past software versions.
- Collaborate with developers on new 2D and 3D graphics engine functionality.
- Test and document the ArcGIS graphics engine for other Esri development teams.
- Build and maintain test scenarios validating graphics engine functionality.
- Investigate customer requests, industry standards, and specifications to define requirements and translate them into software design.
- Modify automated tests and create new test fixtures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience using an application development language such as C++, Java, C#, or Visual Basic.
- Experience using a real-time visualization platform such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Analytical problem-solving, organizational, multitasking, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Preferred: working knowledge of DirectX and OpenGL.
- Preferred: working knowledge of PDF, JPEG, and PNG graphics interchange formats.
- Preferred: familiarity with Esri ArcGIS products and online services or other GIS products.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
