Base Salary
$80k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and author software test cases and strategies for functional requirements.
- Assess product quality and release readiness with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Identify, troubleshoot, document, and reproduce software issues and collaborate on resolutions.
- Test software components through the user interface and provide feedback on functionality and user experience.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts to reduce manual testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or SilkTest.
- Monitor and analyze test results and develop ways to share testing status with the wider team.
- Develop coding samples using public ArcGIS SDKs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience.
- Experience with an application development language such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS platform technologies.
- Preferred experience with relational databases and web technologies such as JSON, REST, or JavaScript.
- Preferred experience with testing tools such as CodedUI, TestNG, Selenium, or Cucumber.
- Preferred experience analyzing code coverage with tools such as BullsEye and Coverity.
- Preferred testing or development experience with large-scale GIS systems or desktop, web, or mobile applications.
- A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
