Base Salary
$80k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Understand Esri fleet-routing solvers and maintain an extensive suite of feature-focused test cases.
- Create adversarial test cases and build, run, and monitor performance, durability, stress, load, and scalability tests.
- Analyze testing results and create clear data visualizations to identify solution-quality and performance issues.
- Collaborate with development programmers to design and build new solver functionality.
- Engage with customers to model real-world business problems using Esri fleet-routing functionality.
- Research customer requests and industry standards to define new solver requirements.
- Troubleshoot customer problems involving solution quality or performance.
- Test and document recommended workflows for ArcGIS users and developers.
- Develop solutions using Network Analyst and other GIS techniques for strategic planning and territory design.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience developing test data and test cases, designing and running stress or load tests, performing statistical analysis on large datasets, or using Jupyter Notebooks with Python visualization and data-science libraries.
- Experience developing applications in Python and using REST APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in operations research, computer science, mathematics, data science, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to analyze and solve problems rigorously and innovatively.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a related field; knowledge of vehicle-routing models, route-optimization methodologies, metaheuristics, statistical design of experiments, and algorithm tuning.
