Base Salary
$77k - $129k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and author test cases with software and product engineers.
- Test ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise functionality for geodatabases, enterprise databases, data stores, and data management services.
- Assess product quality and release readiness.
- Identify, troubleshoot, reproduce, and document product issues and limitations.
- Test software through user interfaces and provide actionable user experience feedback.
- Design and execute functional test strategies and test cases.
- Monitor and analyze test results and collaborate across teams to improve software quality.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or SilkTest.
- Develop ways to share test results and status with the wider team.
- Develop coding samples using public ArcGIS SDKs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience.
- Experience with an application development language such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS platform technologies is preferred.
- Experience with relational databases, JSON, REST, or JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience with testing tools such as Coded UI, TestNG, Selenium, or Cucumber is preferred.
- Experience analyzing code coverage with tools such as BullsEye and Coverity is preferred.
- Testing or development experience with large-scale GIS systems or desktop, web, or mobile applications is preferred.
- A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
