Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise-wide DevSecOps standards, patterns, and guardrails.
- Design and build security automation mechanisms such as secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead security reviews, audits, and threat modeling for high-impact platforms.
- Guide teams and promote security awareness on secure coding and vulnerability remediation.
- Automate compliance and governance requirements at scale.
- Participate in and lead security incident lifecycle, including RCA and remediation.
- Mentor and coach DevOps/DevSecOps engineers across teams.
- Advocate for practices to reduce toil and scale security automation.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts.
- Ensure systems meet regulatory and organizational security standards.
- Help define and implement monitoring solutions and participate in incident response.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering or DevSecOps, preferably in large-scale platforms.
- Deep expertise in automation, cloud-native security, and CI/CD.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in global teams.
- Experience with cloud security, primarily Azure.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with security scanning tools (Snyk, SonarQube, etc.).
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions.
- Fluency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Go, Bash).
- Experience with IAM, secrets management, and zero-trust principles.
- Natural mentoring ability to upskill and guide other engineers.
