AI/ML Ops Engineer
Blackpoint CyberResponsibilities
- Own the AI/ML lifecycle across pipelines, including training, deployment, monitoring, and retirement.
- Develop, optimize, train, and deploy machine-learning models as live endpoints capable of handling real-time requests.
- Design, build, and administer model-building and model-serving infrastructure.
- Implement containerized ML workflows as infrastructure code using Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Automate standardized pipelines for training, feature engineering, and inference with CI/CD managed through GitHub.
- Own testing strategy across model validation, integration, load, and deployment testing.
- Build visibility, alerting, monitoring, and high-availability capabilities into deployed AI/ML pipelines.
- Develop ML governance utilities and implement data, feature, and model lifecycle practices.
- Contribute to AI architecture and design decisions while owning ML pipeline work.
- Collaborate with Engineering, the Security Operations Center, and the Adversary Pursuit Group.
Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on ML engineering experience, including personally training and deploying models in production.
- Experience designing and owning efficient, performant, secure, reliable deployment pipelines end to end.
- Experience with cloud-based ML infrastructure, model development and deployment operations, inference processing, MLOps workflows, infrastructure as code, containerized services, scripting, and query languages.
- Experience building production-grade, highly available systems with visibility and alerting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-influencing abilities.
- Nice-to-have experience with transformer neural networks; Anthropic, OpenAI, or LiteLLM APIs and SDKs; cybersecurity, IoT, or NLP; and Grafana or CloudWatch.
