Responsibilities
- Design and implement APIs and core services.
- Develop models and business logic.
- Build impactful product features.
- Ensure quality of features and follow up on usage/issues post-release.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to align new features with business needs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers.
- Contribute to frameworks that enhance user experience.
- Assist the team in adopting new technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience at startups or on consumer-facing products.
- In-depth experience with Java and Spring Framework.
- Strong programming skills and computer science fundamentals.
- Deep architecture and API design skills.
- Demonstrated ownership through shipping production-quality code.
- Passion for problem-solving and learning new tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Domain expertise in the travel industry.
- Experience with AWS and/or distributed systems is a plus.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
