Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver production-ready software components for a cloud-native, microservices-based platform.
- Build and maintain multithreaded Java security, OAuth, Okta, and OpenID Connect services.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, messaging interfaces, and event-driven components.
- Participate in solution design, requirements analysis, planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues and perform root-cause analysis across development and production environments.
- Write and maintain unit, functional, and integration tests.
- Contribute to CI/CD build automation, artifact management, and deployment workflows.
- Package, deploy, and manage services using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Develop and maintain Shell and Python automation, tooling, and installation scripts.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and continuously adopt cloud-native development practices.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience as a Senior Product Specialist.
- Strong multithreaded Java development experience in distributed-systems contexts.
- Experience with Java security and OAuth; Okta and OpenID Connect experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, JSF, Hibernate, JavaScript, and Oracle.
- Experience with Shell and Python scripting, RESTful APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, and socket-based development.
- Knowledge of messaging and event-streaming platforms such as Kafka and ActiveMQ.
- Understanding of JUnit, Cucumber, PowerMock, Mockito, functional testing, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, JFrog, CI/CD toolchains, and DevOps principles.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Linux, microservices architecture, and cloud-native design principles.
