Responsibilities

  • Develop GenAI solutions using current techniques from Databricks AI research to solve customer problems.
  • Own production rollouts of consumer-facing and internal GenAI applications.
  • Advise customers technically across a range of domains.
  • Present at conferences and establish thought leadership internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Experience building GenAI applications involving RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning, or similar techniques with tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy.
  • Expertise deploying, evaluating, and optimizing production-grade GenAI applications.
  • Extensive hands-on industry data science experience using tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
  • Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience communicating or teaching technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred experience with the Databricks Intelligence Platform and Apache Spark for large-scale distributed data processing.
  • Willingness to travel to customers once every 4–8 weeks as needed.
