Base Salary
$110k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and GitOps practices.
- Own networking, including VNets, subnets, private endpoints, DNS, and firewall rules.
- Manage Azure resource organization, identity, access management, secrets, and Key Vault configuration.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scanning, and deployment automation using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Manage AKS cluster configuration, scaling, lifecycle, networking, RBAC, security hardening, workload deployment, and observability.
- Implement security controls, conduct vulnerability scanning, manage remediation, and support threat modeling and SOC 2 compliance.
- Monitor and optimize cloud spending while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Set up platform monitoring, alerting, and logging, and own incident response procedures and measurable SLAs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering experience in SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated ownership of production infrastructure outcomes rather than only contributing to an infrastructure team.
- Deep Azure expertise, including AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Networking, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor.
- Terraform experience is required; infrastructure is managed as code.
- Kubernetes cluster management experience, including networking, RBAC, and security hardening.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with container security, image scanning, runtime security, and secrets management.
- Networking experience with VNet design, private endpoints, DNS, and firewall rules.
- Active use of AI tools for infrastructure and automation tasks.
- Preferred qualifications include SOC 2 or PCI-DSS experience, Azure security certifications such as AZ-500 or AZ-104, equivalent CISSP or CKS certification, financial services or compliance-sensitive infrastructure experience, data encryption at scale, AWS familiarity, and Terraform module experience.
