Responsibilities
- Design separate software components, modules, classes, and devices.
- Code, debug, document, and maintain software and hardware portions.
- Perform different types of testing and assist test engineers and support personnel with technical issues.
- Participate in estimation, planning, customer meetings, and technical project documentation.
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems on real devices and resolve system-level issues.
- Report project status, identify process and engineering deficiencies, and suggest improvements.
- Escalate technical issues to the Architect, Team Lead, and Project Manager.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with C.
- Experience with cloud connectivity applications, monitoring, and Firmware-Over-the-Air solutions.
- Strong background in LTE, BLE, OpenThread, MQTT, and cybersecurity.
- Practical experience with Yocto Linux.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems on real devices using J-Link and ST-Link.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
- Hardware knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Docker, GitLab, and Jira is a plus.
