Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements and maintain traceability across requirements, design, and test cases.
- Create and configure software components and applications using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, standards, and tools.
- Build automation scripts for repetitive tasks, including CI/CD and testing processes, and implement telemetry features.
- Design and implement large-scale data processing, distributed applications, ETL pipelines, and relational database solutions.
- Write and execute unit, regression, and other appropriate tests; identify, track, analyze, and resolve defects.
- Troubleshoot application performance and availability bottlenecks and analyze logs, maintenance data, and performance data.
- Monitor application programs against approved milestones and timelines and evaluate the feasibility of change requests.
- Develop disaster recovery strategies, upgrade ERP environments, clone production data to non-production environments, and implement data replication solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus two years of software engineering or related experience, or a related master’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale data processing with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with object-oriented Python development, Hadoop, PySpark, Hive, shell scripting, and ETL pipelines.
- Experience writing unit tests with pytest and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
- Experience performing CRUD operations with Oracle and PostgreSQL and designing disaster recovery strategies.
- Experience upgrading ERP environments, cloning production data to non-production environments, and using SharePlex and GoldenGate for data replication.
